If while using Midinotate Musician you have questions about how to use the program, or experience difficulties using the program, there are several ways for you to receive assistance. Also, we would highly appreciate your suggestions for improving Musician (see #5 below).
This User Guide provides detailed procedures for how to accomplish various tasks in Musician. We encourage you to give this User Guide a try, since it is probably better organized, more thorough, and easier to read than many User Guides that you have read. In the left top corner of this window, choose the method of navigating through the User Guide that feels most natural for you: the Table Contents, the Index, or keyword Search. The User Guide file (<%PROD>.chm) might be have been installed on your system. If not, then you will be able to access the User Guide via the Internet, through the same Help menu. If you did not download and install the version of the setup program that includes the Musician.chm help file, then you can download it from: www.notation.com/Download.htm.
Notation Software provides free updates for maintenance releases of Notation Musician, fixing known bugs as well as providing new features and enhancements to the software. To check whether a new update is available, choose the Check for Latest Software Update command in the Help menu.
Notation Software offers the Notation Users Community Forum, where Notation Musician users can trade tips with each other and the developer, ask questions, report software bugs, and request new features. The forum is organized exactly like this User Guide. If you do not find an answer in the User Guide, then find the topic that is most closely related to your question. Click the "Visit the forum" link at the bottom of the page in the User Guide. That will take you to the corresponding topic in the forum. If you do not find an answer there, then ask your question in that forum topic. You can also visit the forum directly at:
Notation Software offers a KnowledgeBase of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and answers. We update this KnowledgeBase with a new FAQ any time the same question is asked by users more than a couple of times. You can visit the KnowledgeBase at:
If after exploring the above options your question still remains unanswered, then visit www.notation.com/support.htm. At that web page, choose the option for Support Via Email, and fill out a simple form with which you can submit your support request. Or, send your question via email to: support@notation.com. We will attempt to respond to you as quickly as possible. Please note that we assign higher priority to questions that are not clearly answered in this User Guide.
