What should I do if the setup program says the Harmony music font cannot be installed?
Solution The Notation setup program might display this error message:
The music font (named 'Harmony') could not be installed. If Notation does not display notes and other music symbols then please visit out web site FAQ page...

This problem may occur if prior to running the setup program you had run another version of Notation which abnormally terminated. In that case, the Harmony music font may be left locked by the abnormally terminated program, and cannot be replaced by the setup program. It can also be caused by too many fonts (more than 300) being installed in your Windows font folder.

To fix this problem, first find the Harmony.ttf font in the Windows Control Panel / Fonts folder. Remove any the copy of the Harmony font currently in the folder. If it cannot be removed, then reboot Windows and try again. If there are more than 300 fonts in this folder, try moving some to a temporary folder (or delete them if you don't need them), and then run the Notation installation program again. Reboot your computer to finalize the installation, and then check to be sure that your Notation software product is properly displaying notes.
