Great idea!
Additional item: to get rid of the time signature,
- Double-click it to bring up the "Change Meter" dialog.
- Uncheck the "Split Measure" box (not sure why that is "on" here, but it was)
- Check the "Hide" radio button on the upper right.
- Click "Ok" to save the changes.
