Default Moving a licence to a new laptop

I have purchase a shiny new Windows 10 laptop to replace my creaking Windows Vista laptop. Having had a few misunderstandings of your licensing architecture, can you tell me if it is simple to try to move one of my licenced copies from old laptop to new laptop - or will I have so much grief that it pays me to buy a third copy of Composer.
Thanks
Tim
