Default error codes

In the last couple of days, I've gotten this or similar error code: an implausible situation has been detected. Code: a000000a at address 646e5743. It freezes my program and I have to hard re-boot to get out of it. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

Hi, Farrbee:

That message usually indicates that the program has not been able to resolve an internal error.

Can you trace down what you were doing at the time of the message(s)? That might lead us to where the problem lies.

David

Hi guys,

As David says, knowing what you were doing (or trying to do) when you ran into the error message will be a big help in figuring out and fixing the problem.

Thanks!

ttfn,
Sherry

I have the same problem - when I try and open just a couple of files - no others are affected

Hi,

If you can please either upload the files here in a reply or send them to support@notation.com we can have a look at the file(s) and figure out the issue. It typically has to do with a file that is either corrupted, or in some way not standard that we haven't run into before. There are a lot of "non-standard" files that our software can open and fix, but we don't have all anomalies covered as yet.

ttfn,
Sherry
