After you have created a new song, you can add the song title, Sound Design, and authors  information.

The song title is displayed on the title page of the song, if you choose to display it as standard page text.

The author information, such as your name and copyright notice, is kept in a special place that can be viewed by another Notation Composer or Notation Musician user with the Song Titles and Authors command in the File menu.

The Sound Design selection is used with the advanced audio capabilities of RealTime Audio.

prcarrow To edit the song title and author information:

1.In the File menu choose the Song Title and Authors command.

Composer will display the Song Title and Authors dialog box.

2.In the dialog box , enter text for the:
B816Song Title
B816Genre
B816Composer
B816Arranger
B816Lyricist
B816Copyist
B816Copyright
B816Other (for example notes about the song)

In this same dialog box you will see that you can select the Sound Design file that you would like to use for the song.  This aspect is part of the advanced RealTime audio feature.  Unless you want to finely manage the audio sound capabilities of your song you can most likely just leave this setting at the default.  For more technical information on Sound Design files please see Configuring RealTime Audio and Carla management.
