Default If you get the error message "Windows MIDI Service is not running"

Windows MIDIService is not running. What to do?

To see if 'WindowsMIDI Services' is installed on your machine, please download and runthe little 'detectmidi' tool from
https://www.notation.com/download\Service\detectmidi.exe

If 'Windows MIDIServices' is installed check the status by

opencmd
midiservice status

You will see thestatus and the version. The major versions of the 'Windows MIDIServices' and Notation's need to match.

If the 'WindowsMIDI Services' is not installed please install it from the link withis provided by the software resp. from here.
