Notes not right
I have not been getting successful results with Notation Composer ...
as a test I played my digital keyboard (which is tuned A = 440) and recorded "Merrily we roll along" in the key of 'C' ... after going through all the steps, the Notation Software printed notes in the key of 'G' and while it sounds right when Notation plays them, the printed notes are not correct ... I am thinking there is something very basic that I am not doing or doing incorrectly ... Also ... after Notation converts the midi to written notes the instrument voice that shows is Piccolo ... is there a way to make the Piano voice be a default? HELP - ANYONE !?!? |

Hi Tony,

If you're just clicking on Record in the toolbar without first adding a new staff, then the default instrument will be whatever instrument is in the last staff in the song file. You can change it after the recording session by using the Staff/Setup dialog. ttfn, Sherry
