I only tried one so far. I think there are a few out there. Then tried importing it into Finale.

Tried a few tunes. Got a few errors on MusicXML import each time and didn't know what the errors meant. It partially worked even with errors.

Then I tried another tune and it failed to import at all.

So I don't know if it's the conversion tool or the Finale.

Seems all not to be that easy...

I've lately tried Myriad music XML viewer for html pages (because of an request in another thread here) and couldn't load a music XML file exported with Notation Software there too. With another pre release open source program called MuseScore import of the same music XML file worked fine.

Music XML seems to be a Babylonian Format everyone talks but no one seems to fully understand...
