Default Re: Editing As-Performed Attack

Hi Sherry,

When you say, "When I do the steps you listed for that C5 in measure 4, it works fine for me.", are you keying in the number of ticks, as in "d-200", or are you using David's approach, i.e. d-left arrow? I can use David's method, but I'd rather get my method to work. Using the arrow keys can be quite time consuming when changing large values or changing a lot of notes.

The numeric keypad does not work for me - I'm just using the numbers at the top of a standard keyboard. And, to my knowledge, I have no modifications to my keyboard set-up.

A couple of additional things I didn't mention in my posting is that I don't always get the yellow error message. At times, I get nothing.

I've been looking a some of my older scores where I would have been keying a lot of changes to duration and/or attack and nothing is jogging my memory. I was writing a lot more in the 2014 - 2020 time frame.

Any other suggestions? I remember there were considerable changes in Composer when the piano roll engine went sub-rosa under Sound.

Ralph
