Shifting pitch in one stave ONLY (Composer 3)
I have a partial arrngement conisting of just two staves at the moment, Acoustic Bass, and B flat Clarinet and in the cencert key of E Major. I wish to move just the Acoustic Bass stave down one octave (13 steps).
I can select the whole of the bass part as a region, no problem. But the Transpose Actual Pitches appears to apply to "all tracks", i.e. all staves, whether in the selected region or not, and as well as moving the bass part down an octave, it is doing the same to the clarinet part !!! Is there any way around this problem or can I only resort to re-keying all the bass part? Many thanks for any suggestions. |

Hi,

This is actually a "move note pitches" thing.

And after you move the bass notes down an octave (to their proper heard pitches, I'm presuming) you can then use Staff/Transpose to instrument keys to have it properly display like a bass player (like myself ) would read it. Enjoy! Sherry
