I wrote a reply but I'm not sure it was taken by the system.

Other mouse actions work properly.

That's weird: if I invert the left/right click functions on my touchpad control panel, it works! I mean that I can set the playback position by pressing P+right click (acting as the left one) on the touchpad.

I guess I should try an external USB mouse.
