Practicing - tools to make learning fun and easy (Musician and Composer)
Hi friends,
This tutorial shows you many of the tools you can use (and some "cheat" methods, too ) to help you with practicing and learning how to read sheet music and learn new songs. Some of the topics that are covered in this video include:
This is a "real live" practice file that I've set up to help me learn a bass part to play a duet with my daughter. One of our users has also graciously shared a number of "learning" files that are set up as duets (which can be transposed for other instruments as needed). There are also some beginner guitar files that are set up with the "lyrics as helps for fingering" tip. You can find these "learning" song files in the Share your music/Learning and Teaching Pieces section of this forum. For this video, you can view it by going here. Please be patient during loading as the video is larger format and a bit longish (around 25 minutes). If you prefer to download it, you can use this download link. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them. ttfn, Sherry
