mojac
Hi, I have just downloaded a trial version to try before I buy.I am not that computer literate and need help. My Roland F P 30 is connected to my desktop via usb. How do I get the piano to connect to the software to start recording a song? I can record in Audacity and Cakewalk. Do I need to download a driver ?

Re: mojac
Hi, gatley:
I also notice that you mention recording into Audacity and Cakewalk. Whle Cakewalk is both a midi and audio program, Audacity is strictly audio. So, please be aware that Notation Composer is a MIDI only sequencer. Think of it as preparing the score, while things like Audacity are for working with the CD. I hope that helps. David |

Re: mojac
Hi Gatley,
When I connect my Clavinova to my PC, I have to make certain that the Clavinova is turned on before I open Composer. If I open Composer first and then turn on the Clavinova, I don't get an immediate connection. Ralph |
