Deleting Invisible Notes
I have just started keying in a rather messy choral piece. As a by-product of changing the ruler, I ended up with a full measure note that should not have been there. I thought it quicker to delete the measure but it seems that somehow the note has been retained in the previous measure but is invisible so I cannot delete it!
If you play the attached Notation file you will find that at measure 9 there is a full measure "C" sounding above the visible notes. I exported the file to MIDI and if you view the attached MIDI file you will see that the note is visible! It is sufficiently early in the keying of this piece that I will just start again, but I would be interested to know if there is an obvious solution. Re: Deleting Invisible Notes
Hi Tim,
That's definitely a bug, and that C is definitely "sticky" - I was not able to select it to remove it, nor (as you found out) could I get rid of it by deleting the measure it appeared to be located in. The steps you took to export the .mid file and then re-open it are probably the best approach. If you remember the steps that you took that made it appear, I'd certainly appreciate knowing so I can write up a bug report. Thanks! Sherry
