The toolbar is displayed along the top of Composer's window. The buttons and controls in the toolbar are grouped as indicated:

Each group of buttons and controls are described in the topics that follow:

       Song Time

       Playback, Recording, and Paging

       Metronome Button

       Tempo and Volume Controls

       Window and Page View Buttons

       Mouse Mode Buttons: Add and SelectAdd, Select, and Step-Time Record
