Do I really need a redownload?

If you have purchased a license for version 3 or later of our software, you do not need a redownload of the installation file to reinstall the software on your machine.  The installation automatically creates a backup folder for you that you can copy and keep in a safe location (eg. a backup hard drive, thumb drive, CD, etc.).  If you have a hard drive crash or virus infection or other issue, you can use the backup to reinstall your software quickly, without having to wait for a redownload link to be sent from us.

If you wish to transfer your license to a new machine, then you will need to follow the instructions and submit the form at http://www.notation.com/UpgradeOrder.php
