Desktop shortcut for Mac - how do I make one?

You can create a desktop shortcut by doing the following on your Mac:

1. Open Finder
2. Drag/drop the according Notation app from the Applications folder e.g. Composer_X.app (X = latest major version) to the desktop
3. If the Desktop icon does not show up in the icon, set the according icon to the shortcut by the Get Info setting.

Now when you double-click the desktop shortcut, Notation Composer (or Musician) will automatically start.
